The Project

There’s an app for that! No matter your industry, you can probably find an app that will drive more customers and sales to your business. Our restaurant client, The Simple Greek, were searching for a way to bring in more customers during slower days of the week. We needed to implement a direct marketing campaign that could repeatedly bring in new customers each week.

The Process

We partnered up with a mobile app company called “Zupp.” “Zupp” was popular amongst local college students for serving up the best deals in the area. The 4,000+ users were the perfect match for our offering. We set up special deal days for certain days throughout the week. To kick-off our special deal days, we created a one-time promotion where we offered 200 gyros for $3 each to students on the app. Our advertisement was placed on the app’s homepage to over 4,000 hungry students.

The Results

We sold out of all 200 gyros in 3 hours. The promotion brought awareness to the restaurant and to our new special deal days. We noticed sales increase on our slower days as college students came in to redeem the special daily deal.
